Bars Manager

Columbia Beach Resort is looking for an experienced, dynamic and service-oriented Bars Manager to lead our Bars Team, ensuring exceptional beverage service, operational efficiency and memorable guest experiences in line with our 5★ luxury hospitality standards.
Main Responsibilities Overseeing the daily operations of all bars and beverage service areas across the Resort Leading, supervising and motivating the Bars Team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service Ensuring compliance with the Resort’s service standards, operational procedures and quality requirements Developing and maintaining beverage menus, cocktail selections and innovative beverage concepts Monitoring beverage quality, presentation and consistency across all outlets Managing beverage costs, stock levels, inventory controls and wastage Preparing staff schedules and ensuring effective workforce planning according to operational requirements Monitoring departmental budgets, financial performance and revenue targets Identifying opportunities for upselling, revenue growth and improved profitability Training, coaching and evaluating team members to enhance product knowledge, service skills and performance Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety and responsible alcohol service requirements Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt and effective resolution Coordinating with the F&B Management Team, Restaurants, Kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations Supporting the planning and execution of special events, functions and beverage-related activities Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization and equipment maintenance throughout all bar areas Candidate Profile Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bar management or a similar supervisory position , preferably within a 5★ hotel or luxury hospitality environment Strong knowledge of beverages, wines, spirits, cocktails and contemporary mixology trends Proven leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a multicultural team Strong understanding of beverage costing, budgeting, inventory management and financial controls Excellent guest service, communication and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness and ability to drive sales and profitability Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding hospitality environment Good knowledge of POS systems and MS Office applications Excellent command of English; knowledge of Greek and additional languages will be considered an advantage Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management or a related field will be considered an advantage Professional certifications in wines, spirits or mixology (e.g.
