About the job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Housekeeping Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for scheduling and assigning cleaning and maintenance tasks to housekeeping colleagues on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager reports to the Director of Housekeeping.
As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: Comprehend and comply with the Mandarin Oriental policies and standard operating procedures.
Inspect, check, and release hotel rooms for arrivals, in accordance with the Mandarin Oriental standards.
Maintain an overview of the daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, traces, and important guests in house.
Create daily task sheets for housekeeping colleagues, with special projects and traces.
Monitor stock in pantries and act accordingly, if refill is needed.
Manage and oversee the daily operation on assigned floors.
Train, coach and motivate housekeeping colleagues to achieve the highest quality standards.
