Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities: Manage all accounting transactions Prepare budget forecasts Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documents Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ladger entries Examining expenses submitted by employees Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable Creating company financial reports with the above information included Analysing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow Good knowledge of MY DATA procedures Very good knowledge of payroll and labor issues Knowledge of warehouse operations and monitoring of third-party warehouses Experience in import and export procedures for goods in the EU and thrid countries Job Requirements: Work experience as an Accounting Manager Excellent knowledge of accounting law, regulations and procedures ( Κ.Φ.Σ.) Hands-on experience with ERP Systems ( ENTERSOFT, SOFTONE,PYLON), Payroll ( EPSILON, DATA COMMUNICATION) Advanced MS Excel skills Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree First Class Accountant License
