Key Account Manager
Job Title: Experienced Account Manager – Maritime Industry Location: Flexible / Hybrid (with travel to ports and client sites as required) Company Overview We are a leading provider of agent services to the maritime industry, supporting ship owners, operators, shipyards, and offshore clients in the Greek Market.
Known for reliability, technical expertise, and long-term partnerships, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to strengthen and grow our customer relationships.
Role Summary The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of maritime clients, acting as the primary commercial contact and trusted advisor.
This role requires industry knowledge, relationship management skills, and the ability to drive revenue while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop long-term relationships with existing maritime clients (ship owners, operators, technical managers, and/or shipyards) Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target new customers Collaborating with our Principals and drive sales initiatives.
Monitor customer performance, resolve issues, and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and orders Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the maritime sector Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role within the maritime, shipping, offshore, or marine services industry Strong understanding of maritime operations, vessel types, and commercial practices Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams Willingness to travel as required Proficiency in CRM systems and Windows applications Fluency in English – Expertise in professional correspondence Preferred Skills Existing network within the maritime or offshore industry Experience with long-term service agreements or technical solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach What We Offer Competitive salary and turnover- based incentives Company car or travel allowance (role dependent) Opportunities for career growth in an international maritime environment Supportive team culture with a focus on long-term success How to Apply Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and motivation for the role.
